Attack of the BSOD!

Ach! This is driving me crazy! Go here to read my "upgrade" nightmare (seems more like a downgrade): http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.cfm?catid=28&threadid=1015794
Update: I moved my ram back to slot 1 and it allows the 148MHz speed (whereas I was stuck around 140MHz with the other two slots) but that's still not 151MHz like I used to get...
Now I get the following error message at anything above 148MHz fsb (instead of my old rock solid 151Mhz fsb)
STOP: 0x000000D1 (0xDCA8F044, 0x00000002, 0xEB81115C) DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Address EB81115C base at EB810000, DateStamp 38200051 - BOOTVID.DLL

the IRQ and BOOTVID.DLL thing caught my eye. Anyone out there know their BSODs and can tell me what this means and what I can do to fix it?

thanks

dude you need to run some prime95 to make sure your rig is 100% stable. let it run overnight, then for a few days, then for a week, and then you'll know it's stable 🙂

sIcKBeAst pwnz j00.

that bsod (irq) shows up alot when bsod's come
theres no specific reason afaik that has been said

anyways, try running memtest86 (its completely windows free) to see if ram is stable at that speed or not)

have you tried upping vdimm?

did any of the silver compound touch any traces/metal? (it could be conductive and screwing thins up)
