The other att mvno's recently all lowered their prices and upped their data limits. All of the att ones are now offering 3gb data instead of 1-2gb for $60. Or they are offering 1gb of data for $40.

nope go phone still 60$ for 2gb data with a extra 1gb for 10$ just checked website

H2O & Red Pocket both added the 3gb plans for $60. GoPhone is still 2gb for $60.

GoPhone is not an MVNO, so technically his statement is correct.

GoPhone is the only one offering LTE though, and personally if I'm paying $60/month for my line, I'd choose LTE speed over an extra 1 GB of data.

I'm currently testing GoPhone's $60/month plan for a month only, and damn it's wicked fast!

This is what I meant. Go phone does have lte though.
There's also air voice and aio wireless. Aio is owned by att and offers LTE but it's throttled and not nationwide yet.

I just ordered a sim off eBay. Gonna give GoPhone a whirl. I currently pay $120 for a grandfathered unlimited line. I use around 3-4 gigs per month. That would put me at $80 with GoPhone. $40 savings would be nice.

The caveat is that GoPhone's coverage is not identical with AT&T postpaid (I believe it does not include roaming partners - usually small/local carriers).

If this is not a problem with you then go for it. If you haven't had a GoPhone before, test first by activating the SIM with the PayGo option, with a $10 PIN. You won't get LTE this way, but you'll get the same coverage.

If you're good with the coverage, then add money into your account (so the balance is >$60) through myprepaidrefill.com (one of GoPhone's OLAM sites) and after that you can convert to the $60/month plan by calling 611. You don't even have to talk to a person.

I went ahead & bit the bullet on the $60 plan. Testing it right now in my Verizon Galaxy Note 2. No LTE, but I am getting HSPA+ speeds. Coverage is really good so far. I can Stream Netflix & Google Music no problem. HD YouTube buffers too much, & streaming Plex on the go is a no-go.
For the price, it might be worth my while to sell my Verizon N2 & grab a used At&T N2 for LTE.
