Since ATT cable Internet is back up and running, why pay $300 million for Excite@home? Maybe I am missing something, but Excite gets all huffy and convinces a judge to pull the plug on @home and the next day my ATT cable internet service is up and running with different IP addresses, mail and news servers. I say who needs Excite. They can take their fricking network and shove it where the sun don't shine. I'll neve forgive them for unceremoniously trashing all my @home e-mail.
Why did ATT want to pay $300 for Excite if they already had a system in place?
