ATT Cellphone service = CRAP?

MY bro has his att phone for about 5 months, in that 5 months he had to send his phone back 4 times beacuase it sucked. Hes on the phone with att rep trying to get a new phone again but a diff one....these people are trying to charge 119 for a 20 dollar nokia phone...and now theyre sayin well comp u 60 minutes for the 4 weeks u didnt have a phone..lol? That is pathetic...anyone know how to get an upper hand here or can hook us up?

lol speaking of att, i just went to a training for their new up and coming gsm service. i believe in some states its already made its debut.

from the training i found out that theyre very unorginized, they have sloppy plans. they really should consolidate their plans and put them into something like vstream has. they took off nights for free for one year contracts. you only get 3000 weekend minutes now.

you need to sign a 2 year contract in order to receive nights.

dont know what else. cant think off the top of my head right now.

Eh well seems like my bro got stuck with 4 bad phones in a row, the one they sent and we recived today just stoped working all of a sudden even with a new battrey while talkint to the service rep...lol....


Whats a good pretty cheap phone for att service, where can i buy it at which b&m store?

I like the new 8265. If I'm gonna get a cell phone, I think I'll be getting that one with ATT. Too bad its new, so it might be hard to get for cheap. 8265

I just signed up for my Voicestream, wanted the damn T68m, first rep said sure we can get it for CA (even though not available in stores or online). Then I called again and a diff rep said they wouldn't be able to ship one out, but probably on the 30th or very soon (he better not have been lying) and I signed up anyway w/ their free phone and he said I could upgrade at the normal signup price. Also mentioned earlier that the converstation was being recorded, muhaha. Anyway, yay for 3000 anytime minutes.

Shame on AT&T Wireless for taking away night minutes on 1 year contracts , 2 year wireless contracts are not a good idea , run to the competition . BTW - If you are in the Atlanta market and are looking for good local wireess service , don't even think about AT&T Wireless . I know because I have it and curse it just about every day and will switch (to Verizon, Cingular, or Nextel all better here ) as soon as my contract expires

Yeah that was kinda crappy of AT&T to take night minutes away. It cost $5 a month extra for a few thousand week night minutes now.

I hope their service isn't crap. I want to get the 10 dollar a month plan for retail employees, with a v60 perhaps. Maybe its just for certain areas. NYC is not too bad.

i don't know where you guys all are from, but for me in CA...ATT's reception is much better than Cingular's. I hear Verizon is good too. But just for reference, which phone are you talking about and what kind of problems are you having?

Ok so we went to the att authorized dealer today to buy a new phone, so then she tells us that we can cancel att rite now with no fees beacuse they did a 411 call rate change from whatever to 1.25 now and if u dont like it ur aloud to cancel. The notices were supposed to be sent with ur bill, and we never even got one! So we call up and they say too bad if u didnt get one...wtf! assholes. Then they redflaged or somesh!t wrote some crap comments on my bros att account on their computer that my bro was being an ass to them beacuse when we called again it was a nice canadian lady (yay for canada for once) and she was really nice and she said im sorry my superviser said i cant do anything, but she understood, well atleast she was nice and she said the last people wrote bad stuff bout u..lol anyways then we bought a new phone panasonic one.....But man if we canceled i was gonna make my bro get the new T-mobile, 3000 anytime, no roming, nationwide! 49 a month....man to bad we missed out on that but yeah for my brother so far ATT=crapassservice. well see with this new phone, but still the phone reps are asses too....

Oh yeah and what really was screwy was the guy who was just leaving the store when we walked in got his att canceled on that 411 rate change, what they said is already gone. dude and the lady at the att auth dealership was all pissed at att to and she said they were evil! heh , she said she had 4 customers in teh last 2 days cancel their att beacuse of the rate change, and then why didnt they let my bro...thats bull.
