Yea it seems like the Nexus/variants are going to be like the Touch Pro 1/2 and getting released on every carrier which is great.

Hmmm, peeps have reported being able to get a data only plan from tMobile for the Nexus One with the unlocked full price Nexus One.

With a VOIP solution and a data only plan for $30, I'm psyched, they just need a VOIP for Android that's simple enough for me to install.

I read a thread on that and the T-mobile plan they are talking about it for hearing impaired people. Some people were at first able to get it then had to provide proof that they are hearing impaired since tons of people all of a sudden tried jumping on it. Don't know the status of how it's going now though.

What did you say?

IIRC, it was ATT that did that.

I know this is CDMA, but sprint's relay service is $30 for unlimited data/text and there's no requirement listed for any hearing deficiencies.

If/when the CDMA version of the Nexus hits sprint I'll probably pull the trigger then. TMo doesn't have coverage in Northern MN which is where we'll be moving in the fall.

So if I understand correctly, TMobile allows you to go data only if you tell them you're hearing impaired?

Why would hearing impaired folks get an unlimited data plan?

hearing impaired depends on texting IMing Email...social networking...and browsing...in some cases with relay service apps.
