Hmmm, peeps have reported being able to get a data only plan from tMobile for the Nexus One with the unlocked full price Nexus One.
With a VOIP solution and a data only plan for $30, I'm psyched, they just need a VOIP for Android that's simple enough for me to install.
I read a thread on that and the T-mobile plan they are talking about it for hearing impaired people. Some people were at first able to get it then had to provide proof that they are hearing impaired since tons of people all of a sudden tried jumping on it. Don't know the status of how it's going now though.

whoiswes is correct and I am hearing impaired I get tmobile data plan but they do not list hearing impaired only data plan except for AT and T you need to get a proof that you are hearing impaired to get unlimited data plan.
So if I hear you correctly, TMobile allows you to go data only if you tell them you're hearing impaired?
So if I understand correctly, TMobile allows you to go data only if you tell them you're hearing impaired?
Why would hearing impaired folks get an unlimited data plan?
Why would hearing impaired folks get an unlimited data plan?
So they could use the other features of the smartphone without paying for voice?
cause they aren't seeing-impaired
well, right, but i was having a hard time understanding why an unlimited data plan without a minutes plan would help a hearing impaired person actually use a phone for communication.
