I'll be in lower Manhattan (wall street area) for 3 days coming up here in June. (8,9,10)

Anyone in the area want to grab a drink or something after 5pm? I've only been to the area once so I don't really know much of anything around it.

south street seaport should be nice at that time and there's lots of outdoor bars. take wall st east until you hit the water then turn left. then you'll see it on the right in a few blocks.

EDIT: there's also outdoor bars in the financial center. take wall st west until you hit the water then turn right.

EDIT2: you might have to take another street parallel to wall when you head west iirc wall doesn't go to the water on the west side.

thanks for the info, I'm going out there solo so I'm hoping to catch a drink with someone.. my cousin lives in Manhattan but I'm not sure where she lives exactly so I'm going to drop her a line too.

Aww bummer, well I'll be on Wall Street basically all day until 5pm working so I don't see that happening unfortunately... how far is TS from where I'll be via train?

Take the #2 or #3 from the Wall St subway station. Get off at 42nd St. Walk towards 47th St (the Theatre District)

Should be about 20 minutes.

I JUST moved out of Chelsea. Sorry to say I won't be able to come, though I have a feeling I'll be moving back in a few months.
