I'm getting a vehicle for commuting 50 miles each way for four months for a training program. Here are the choices:

1994 SAAB 900 S with 127k miles, $2500

or

1994 Mitsubishi Galant, 92k miles, $2000

They both come with a 3 month, 3k mile warranty.

After the four month training is over, I plan on selling the vehicle.

which one should I get and why?

get a mechanic to look at both, and get the one he recommends.

4 months isn't going to change much on the car, just get the one that's more sound.

Why are you basing your purchase on the opinions of those whose opinions are highly suspect? You can't figure it out for yourself or find those who opinions are based on actually knowledge? I mean if you were looking for the best masterbation techniques no doubt this would be the place to go but for anything else you are barking up the wrong tree.

I chose it to screw with teh OP. Saabs (especially older ones) are the biggest POS.

dunno, my friend drove a saab in high school, and it was great. that was probably a 9 or 95. I think it was the first car that I was ever in that someone showed me traction control. and it really hauled ass (turbo)
