Rockford does have an airport. Though I'm not entirely sure what the flight schedule includes as far as arrivals / destinations goes.

If you're associated with UIUC then there is the Illini On Target club. They practice at the PTI but I can't remember what facilities they have there. I was planning on joining the Danville club before I left the country.

on target is just for students, but the factuly staff firearm safety club is the non-student version.

I need to call the dude and send in my app, even though its only once a month for a few hours, thats waaaaaaaay more than I get now. I havent shot in almost a year :'(
