Everybody misses it... it really has nothing to do with the corps

It's a stuipid name from far back in my childhood that I stuck with because it was unique everywhere I registered. So that's that.

I'm also not averse from going further into IL and Chicago, I just need to know a couple weeks ahead of time. 3 Floyds is still a solid meet up place though.

my in laws live downtown so I am up there a few times a year and usually looking to get out of their apartment

Yeah but who the hell lives out there? There are a lot of 100 yard ranges that will take highpower.

There's an NRA range in Kankakee, Darnall's in Bloomington (goes out to 300 yard but only if the trap isn't being used otherwise 100 yard and 75 yard), Aurora Gun Club (200 yard and 100 yard), Buffalo Rifle Range in Ottawa, and I know there's a range out in Danville though I never been. Those are the ones I know off the top of my head which I have been to.

Then there are a lot of smallbore ranges in the Chicagoland area. There is the Wheaton Rifle Club which had an indoor 50 ft range and an outdoor 100 yard range.

So they're out there if you look.
