Who in the hell, other than a Finn, would know the President of Finland in 2000?

That's getting a bit obscure...

I actually got this one right because several years ago, Conan O'Brien had a running joke on his show about the presidential elections in Finland, turns out that he looked very much like one of the candidates (a woman) -- the reddish hair, facial features, etc. So I remembered her name from that. :)

Still doesn't belong in a geography category.

How about a math category?

Although, times would probably be ridiculous and reduce scores tremendously... hm. I guess I'll go with rainman and say a general pop culture category.

Dang, I zipped through as fast as I could (36 seconds). Missed the one about the moon (guessed wrong).

IMO there is enough math in the Sci and Tech category.

I agree with the others for some History...

But be forewarned, i've played on the Funtrivia site for a while and the history category is almost as wide open as the geography one. But, i'd rather have history than two sci and tech's....

Fair enough. My only strong subject is math, hence my suggestion:p

Some of the math questions are decent - they don't require computations. However, some of the questions, such as a few calculus questions, would seriously cramp anyone's ability to finish the quiz in less than 80 seconds. In fact, since it's 100 points for a correct answer, minus your time, people would get a higher score on a few of those quizzes if they got lucky and guessed 3 or 4 correct.

And with 2 days left, it's DrPizza and Mugs tied for 3rd... DrPizza edges ahead by 3 points with 1 day left to go... Who's going to get 3rd??
