We should petition the Mods to change your custom title to Serious Eats :)

Haha! I do like their site quite a bit because they (1) scientifically(esqe) test procedures, (2) give you a full explanation for each recipe, and (3) give you pictures of the various stages of the process (so you can see how to do it) & the various outcomes (so you can choose what you want). That sounds overly-nerdy, but what it provides you with is knowledge & options, so that you actually know what you're doing & why (instead of just following instructions), and can choose the outcome desired. For example, their sous vide steak procedure is awesome:

They show you the differences in results at various temperatures:
