You take the cricket bat to 'em first, darlin', and I'll play backup with my fairly substantial although admittedly not unlimited supply of ammo. (I do, however, reload, and I bet I could do it pretty darn fast under the right circumstances!)

OMG you guys...... HAL is someone who thinks that gay people who prefer all-gay partners to bi partners are homophobes.

There's no point in arguing with him except to pull twisted, tortured 'logic' from his keyboard.

It's patently obvious that a 5'3" woman has no chance of defending herself against an attacker that is a full foot taller and probably 100+ lbs bigger without some kind of weapon that keeps her farther away than arms length. (i.e. a gun)

HAL is an ideologue. Practical application in real life never applies in his mind.

That's completely different, if gay people don't have the right to get a marriage licence they don't have the right to marry, but if everyone has the right to speak, even if they aren't physically able to they still have the right.
