ATOT: please help me pick my next cell phone and service

Nextel:
pros: good service, all my friends have it so i can use chirp, unlimited incoming
cons: pricey phone ($175 for an i860 with 1 year contract), $50 equipment fee (whatever that is), not that many minutes (300), pricey plan, no bluetooth

T-Mobile:
pros: cool phone (sidekick II), practically zero up front costs (the phones is free), easy txt messaging (although the one person i txt might not be in my life anymore, long story)
cons: no bluetooth, not sure how reception is in my area, bulky

Cingular:
pros: razr phone looks baller, cheapest plan, good amount of minutes, bluetooth phone
cons: phone cant be insured, not sure how service is, pricy phone ($200)

Where do you live that Nextel has good service? The reception sucks around here, you're lucky if you can complete a one minute phone conversation and understand every word. New Jersey area here. That being said, I have verizon.

I refuse to vote b/c of phone choices... 😉

i basically picked the top three phones for each provider...

"top" To each his own I guess....

I would get cingular but not the V3.

recommend something else?

razr just looks the sleekest 😛

Hey, if you like it get it. I have cingular service and like the coverage...CS is a bitch, but so is everyone elses. I have the treo 650 and some consider it to be a "brick". The V3 is basically a V600 but smaller. If form is more important than function the V3 is probably the best choice. Otherwise I would get the MPX220 or something like that.

Get Cingular, but certainly not the Razr, it is the most OVERPRICED cell phone EVER. Its a misshapen V600 (the v600 is a two year old phone btw)
Get Cingular and a Nokia 6230 or a Motorola V551
