I have a 1930s fridge in the basement that I used for several years. It's so cute. it has this open ice compartment about the size of a bread box that cools the rest of the space. It's a bitch to defrost though.

And there are 1970s fridges out there that will survive a nuclear holocaust.

In fact, wasn't that a scene from some old movie? The hero survives a nuclear blast, fridge goes suborbital then crashes and the hero emerges?

New employee meltdown nef. The employee is thirty going on thirteen. The manager is quietly, patiently trying to keep the employee employed as the person is a good hand when not melting down. The new employee doesn't seem to understand that the manager is really working on their behalf. We'll see what tomorrow brings.
