I need to dig out all of my old vinyl and digitize it. Although, the stuff I really liked I transfered to cassette but then you get the "hiss" in addition to the snap, crackle, pop - bonus.

I keep thinking I might have some shit that's collectible but every time I've checked I've been disappointed. There is however some pretty offbeat shit- like a bunch of Wax Trax artists - My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult, RevCo (Revolting Cocks), etc.

I was outside a couple of nights ago and one of the kittens was curled up against the black feral on his heated mat. Awww. I think it must be a female since he was sniffing that spot later. He's definitely a horndog but a very sweet horndog.

The thing none of them like is the car. It's hard to explain, but to turn the car around, I have to pull up to the garage door where they "reside." I'm trying to train them by always setting the alarm when I leave. I was getting really sloppy about that. Anyway, once you set it in 'leaving' mode, it beeps for a couple of minutes before going silent. And since there's an alarm speaker in the garage, that should be enough to train them so they don't collectively jump out of their skin.

My entire life I thought wrought iron meant iron that had been worked into some shape.

Never make assumptions.

I'm watching Nova and in the context of the what material to use for the Eiffel Tower, I discover that "wrought" means that virtually all of the carbon has been removed.

D'oh!

This is probably my favourite picture of my cats. It's a perfect representation of their personality. The black one just chilling and orange one being crazy. Managed to get the shot mid jump while he was trying to attack the curtain cord.
