Google took me back in time and sent me a link to some photos of my old P180 case with a Zalman fan controller that I thought was so awesome. It just had these hideous bright blue activity lights that would blind you. Plus, it's not my old main rig. It's my late wife's PC at that point. I'm pretty sure it had an AMD A10-7850K processor. Note, it is really dirty inside. It was housed in a cheap desk that made access to the computer near impossible. I believe I took it out to upgrade the case to a P183 that I was no longer using.

Mediterranean pizza. Pesto, olive oil, chicken breast, artichoke hearts, roasted red bell pepper, sun-dried tomatoes, basil, feta cheese.

Yes. Every week or so the forums slows to a crawl. it's only a matter of time before Future pulls the plug.

I'm actually starting to wonder if this is something that could happen. Forums in general are so dead, and don't really make any money. I kinda miss the golden days of forums. At one point I was running 4 of them that had decent traffic but it got a bit much to manage, especially the older ones that had security issues, so I shut them down temporarily, well temporarily turned into like 10 years. I finally brought them back up, combined into 1 forum. But it's basically a ghost town. Partially my fault for it taking so long to do it.

Weirdly enough it gets tons of traffic, I don't know if it's mostly bots or what, but I can post something and a few days later it has thousands of views.

At this point the only reason I even finished the project was because I just wanted to so I can get closure on it and move on to something else.

I, too, miss the golden age of message boards. I was an site admin with a site with considerable traffic. I had top access above moderators. It was pretty sad when our host pulled the plug. He had volunteered to host the forums when the original hosts went on to other things. He started having trouble with hackers and tried to mitigate the threats. When they moved to attacking his own business and not just the forums he decided to shut down. Fifteen years of unbelievable moments. I had so many contacts that would hook me up with just about everything. Now, that it's long in the rear view mirror, I'm still friends with people across the country and the world. People today will never know of the wild west that the internet was in the early 2000's.

Only bots are visiting your old untouched for ten years forums. Look how dead it is here at AT. The only place with considerable traffic would be Reddit.

I looked this up recently and I think the stats I saw said that ATF gets about 9M visitors per month. That's pretty significant especially since most of that traffic tech-oriented readers - making them much more valuable. So I think we're safe for the foreseeable future.

I like the noise my cat makes when I touch him and he does not see it coming. "Brrrrrrou!"
Awww, so, so adorable. On the rare occasion when I used to try to annoy my cats I think they did that. It's been so long now I'm not sure. I think it one of their more complex behaviors - it's like combo of a growl and purring. 'Hey, what are you doing, ooo, I sorta like that.'
=======================================
The kittens/cattens are so knute. But even after months of feeding them (and they know it's me putting the food out) only one of the 3 seems to actually trust me.

The back door has plate glass windows so whenever I'm in the kitchen and peak outside to see the food status, if he/she is there, it just looks up at like 'yo.' Then I leave it in peace to eat.

I've mentioned this before but I think they like pretending to be scared - sort of what horror movies are to humans. 'Arrrrggghhh, it's the monster again, run away, run away.'

Yeah it's kinda like a greeting like "oh, hi there". Sometimes they even do it to each other. Like if they bump into each other. My orange cat also does an annoyed sigh sound, it's hilarious. He often wants food when he already ate and he gets annoyed at me for not giving more. He'll meow and I ignore him and he sighs and walks away. Attitude that one lol. Black one is more chill and doesn't make too many noises but he does meow and it's like a super cute meow almost like a kitten but he's the oldest.

IDK if anyone here is familiar with the old Wall St. expression 'catch a falling knife.' If not, it just means that if there's a stock you like and it takes a tumble (the falling knife), you try to buy in thinking that it will reverse course. Of course that rarely happens, at least when you make your purchase. So if you say that to someone it's sorta like saying, 'you moron.'

Well, today I attempted precisely that with a real knife. Almost took off a chunk of my pinky. The wound keeps opening up and blood keeps leaking out of the side of the bandaid. It's making touch typing, let's say 'challenging.'

Probably should have gotten stitches but that's such a PITA
