Got me a pizza steel last week. I got the 3/8" deluxe 16x16 version. It's a huge slab of steel and quite heavy. Here's the steel before and after seasoning.

And here's my first pizza in over a month and first one on the new steel. Freshly sliced pepperoni, Italian sausage, low moisture whole milk mozzarella, asiago and parmesan.

I heated the steel for 45 minutes at 500F and did a high broil for 15 minutes. Then, I set it back to 500F bake and baked for 4 minutes. Then, did 3 minutes at lo broil. Not sure if I can't do better. Maybe start the broil sooner and try out high broil. I'll probably change one variable next time and see if it gets better or worse.

So I signed up for Factor meal services. I'll see how it's like. Basically they are fancy TV dinners. You can pause any time so it's not like I have to feel committed. I will probably freeze what I don't eat and when I have a lot I'll pause it. It's kind of pricy at around $14/meal, but if this means I eat less take-out it's still way cheaper. Will be perfect for night shifts or days where I just don't feel like making anything. Instead of ordering take out I'll just eat one of these.

Hmm. Thinking of switching to Fidium Fiber again. New lower introductory pricing. I’ll save money for two years and then break even, but with higher data rates after that.

At first I thought you were talking diet, like metamucil. When I got to the higher data rates I was like, "Oh!" 😂

Yeah, took me a few seconds to switch from soluble fiber to fiber optics. Of course, your diet needs to include both. ;)

It's expensive takeout.

Lol just heard they had to guard the fire truck while putting the crack house fire since they had crackheads trying to steal stuff off the fire truck. What a dump this place has turned into. Can't help but laugh though. Cops are quitting left and right, even our police chief quit. They're trying to get outside help now. Cops catch these people only for them to be released the same day, so think it's hard on morale and they're just fed up.
