Sunlight changes body chemistry - probably more than purely Vitamin D production. I feel it after 20 minutes exposure.
I reckon it's a blood sugar adjustment.

AFAIK, there is only one thing, the light of which you will see well before you feel the heat.

I think you might have been expecting something a bit more cheerful.

107F today. Insane. Yesterday, I was out emptying the trash. On the walk to the compactor, I noticed how hot it was. It was 8:30pm and 100F. Nuts.
