They're all so paranoid though. Even the big black cat. Of course his displeasure is likely related my being responsible for his waking up one day sans nutticles.
 
He made a very sweet spot for himself though. It's right next to the basement cinder blocks. So he gets the benefit of the hot air I keep cracked open and keeps the temp in the high 50s more or less.
 
Plus, he has figured out the secrets of styrofoam and has pulled a big chunk to the back of the styrofoam cat shelter such that there is maybe 1 or 2 inch gap between either the shelter or the cinder blocks. And his tail can touch the foundation of the rear porch.
 
Made fish and chips tonight. My ketchup was a dark maroon color. Never seen it like that. It's past expiration date. I read that it's not necessarily bad yet, but definitely on its way. Weird. I'm gonna throw it out. Ran out of mayo, too. Everything is getting so expensive. Maybe I'll just pilfer ketchup and mayo packets from work. LOL
