Called out today. We had thunder sleet this morning. It was a first for me. Made it about 30 minutes and still hadn't made it to a freeway. Reports of wrecked semis and overpasses and bridges closed, including the one to my place of employment. I had to drive around one pickup that was wrecked when I decided to turn around and go home. As I was calling in, another pickup wrecked. Wild.

Work closed down today. So, another snow day. Got some Chinese for lunch. Made cornbread and the chili I made last night. Pretty good.
