I had eight hours of in-house training yesterday. More than four hours of the training was boomers bitching that the younger folks didn't know how to do anything and that the company would collapse without boomer wisdom. Translation: "We did such a shitty job planning for retirement that we're still here working in our late 60s."

Edit: nef

Got my package. Greenworks 80v lawnmower. I can't believe I'm saying this but I can't wait to mow my lawn to try it. :p I tested it real quick but it's raining so it's not exactly ideal conditions to be mowing lawn. It worked fine even in the wet tall grass though.

Gas one still works fine, so I will change the oil in it, run it at least once to make sure everything is good then sell it. Or see if my nephew wants it, he mows lawns in summer for extra money.

I'm in chill out mode. Helped out a co-worker this morning. He wanted to change out his headlight assemblies. I told him that I could do that. With a little research, found out I would need to take off the front bumper cover. Was planning on doing just that. Get out to his car. His headlight assemblies look brand new. Crystal clear. I ask him why he thinks he needs new assemblies. He says his driver's side low beam is out. I'm like WTF.

I take out the bulbs. Show my friend how to do it. The bulb looks good. I swap them. Driver's side is still dead. Check the fuses for the low beams. Both appear to be intact. Swap them just to troubleshoot. Only passenger side works. As I'm attempting to take off the driver's side bulb and inspect the connector, the light flickers on. I see some damage to the connector. We go up to the auto parts store and get a universal connector for his bulb type/model. It comes with a crimp connector, but I decide to solder/heatshrink tubing. I like to do it right. Found out my portable butane soldering iron doesn't work. Good grief. Had to break out two 50 ft. extension power cords so I can use my Weller industrial soldering gun. Love that thing, but I live in an apartment. It's a lot more effort for non battery powered devices. Anyways, I did a good job and his driver's side low beam is working once again. Boxes rules!

I didn't really feel like working OT... but I can use the money. :p
