And now they got their first Pfizer shot
I had my Pfizer booster three weeks ago. Was worse than the first two. Went and got tested a week after I got I got it because I had a lot of symptoms. I've had covid before. Test came back negative. It was two weeks of respiratory distress and fatigue. My energy level has come back, as has my appetite.

I was boosted a few months ago but from about Thorsday til yesterday, my lungs were brimming with mucus. Sorry for the graphic description. Gufenacine helped immensely but it was still distressing. I don't really see any point in getting tested though since I was never in any sort of respiratory stress. It was just very uncomfortable having to clear my throat 2 or 3 times per minute. Oh and the rattling sound coming from my lungs. Again, distressing

My reaction to the booster was similar. Body aches, malaise, etc. I see why it's so easy for people to write it off as the flu if they have a mild case, which most seem to be. In that respect, the chance of omicron out competing delta would be a most welcome change if it really is less severe. Bye bye delta hello ineffectual cold-like virus. Maybe that's how we get out of this. Thanks Muse for that post about that possibility.

For a while I was convinced it was just the pot (got a license to ill) but that never lasts more than a day or so if I don't smoke. I don't seem to have very robust lungs. I'm sort of thankful for that though since it was the main reason the most I could ever smoke was maybe a half pack - and not for more than a day or do. And when I would get the flu, sweet Haysus, it felt the flem was being piped in from somewhere.

If I ever got a confirmed case of covid, I'd probably be in the hospital - even with leftover antibodies.

Got called in to work today since it was crazy busy with power outages. 6 hours of OT. :D
When I was learning to be a programmer at the age of 30, I got paid hourly. Ka-ching.

I'd volunteer to baby sit the system on holidays and on New Years I'd keep refreshing the screen to watch the date change. Woo-hoo. Good times.
