The sewage treatment plant has only been there since 1910 🙄

They built a new one here and went with an open outside sediment tank. No idea WTF they were thinking. The first year it went in operation they had issues with it freezing. No shit sherlock! So they have infrared heaters now to keep our poop warm.

There was tons of corruption involved in that project though, it was suppose to cost a few mil and ended up being like 10x more expensive. Someone got rich.

Not sure if that's the one but maybe it is, there's multiple sewage plants. I don't remember the exact numbers I just know it ended up crazy high and our water bill has been going up by a large amount every year to try to make up for it. There's one that they built which never got used since it started to sink into the ground. I think that project got abandoned for a while but last I checked they seemed to be digging in the area.

When searching for a rock bar (digging bar, San Angelo bar) I found Numerical simulation study on rock-breaking process and mechanism of compound impact drilling, which I read. I guess I'm doomed to be a knowledge worker. 😛

Impact drilling. We used to have a bar where you could participate in that upstairs if you were lucky. 😛

After spending the previous seven centuries in more or less constant warfare against the French monarchy, the first thing the Brits do after the French Revolution is to go to war with the French Republic in attempt to restore the French monarchy. WTF Brits?

Basically the same people that voted for Brexit.

I always hate going in person, basically wastes a whole day.

It's been a long time since I've gone in person. I renewed last time online. Used the same fat picture for another 6 years. When I got my carry license in 2017, I got the same fat picture. I didn't look like that anymore. LOL. This time it's for 8 years and I got a new pic! Yay! Plus, it's not only going to say VETERAN. It's going to say VETERAN - US NAVY. Awww yeah!
