I've been SO lucky I have yet to step in any after all these years. I pretty much passively look for it and I avoid walking in the dark.

I did however go to bed with puke once... that was NASTY. I slipped in the blankets, felt something, then the smell immediately hit me, and I knew exactly what just happened. I was so pissed.

Lol it's pretty bad when I start recognizing properties that I've seen before. There's one I went to check out a while back but I found it was too swampy for my taste. It sold not that long after. It's for sale again but now there is a backfilled area and a camper. it's too bad it's so swampy though as it has a lake, which is the first for properties in this price range. Lake is basically a giant swamp... but it's still a lake.
