Interesting the stuff you can find poking around Google Maps. So what I thought was a power line going over that property is actually transcanda pipe line. I found the direction it was taking was kinda sporadic, like it was going around big boulders or something. Power lines tend to be quite straight, and don't take more than one sharp turn at a time as there is no reason to.
Followed it all the way to Kapuskasing power plant which I then looked up, and it's a gas powered plant and the pipe line passes right next to it. So that more or less confirms it, also found what looks like some kind of station, probably a pumping station.
Not sure how that works when it goes on property you own, guessing it's like an easement where you technically don't own that portion. Might make for a nice skidoo trail in winter though... But it's also going through a bunch of other people's property in that area so not sure. Either way it's kind of cool to know it's there, does not really pose much of a problem with that kind of acreage.
