Interesting the stuff you can find poking around Google Maps. So what I thought was a power line going over that property is actually transcanda pipe line. I found the direction it was taking was kinda sporadic, like it was going around big boulders or something. Power lines tend to be quite straight, and don't take more than one sharp turn at a time as there is no reason to.

Followed it all the way to Kapuskasing power plant which I then looked up, and it's a gas powered plant and the pipe line passes right next to it. So that more or less confirms it, also found what looks like some kind of station, probably a pumping station.

Not sure how that works when it goes on property you own, guessing it's like an easement where you technically don't own that portion. Might make for a nice skidoo trail in winter though... But it's also going through a bunch of other people's property in that area so not sure. Either way it's kind of cool to know it's there, does not really pose much of a problem with that kind of acreage.

I'm at one of the chain stores for eyeglasses here at the mall. I so rarely ever come to the mall. This is weird. They got sanitizer and they got temperature taking guns. The whole Mall is empty for the most part. My cat was upset with me being upset with him. He swiped my glasses off of my face. They are a flexible titanium frame and rimless glasses. Very easy to miss. Cuz my blind eyes couldn't see anything.

Well, it turns out that my glasses have proprietary nose pads. I went to three different stores including an independent and no luck. The 1st door put on some generic sleeves that were made of rubber and colored close to my frames. But the original nose pads are clear and that's what I want so that people don't see my glasses on my face too well.

The eyeglass stores will usually replace your pads for free because they're cheap and they want your business for the next time you need frames/lenses. But when three stores (2 chain stores/1 independent) say they can't get them, I decided to go online.

Realtor wants me to call... I can't. I'm on night shifts. Replied asking if they're ok with a late night call tomorrow. But it's a good sign if she did not just say it's sold already.

I do want to ask about the pipeline though, make sure there's no "gotchas" with that, like major restrictions on what I can do on the property etc.

Actually I had a weird dream last night that I went to look at a property but it was a store front that was basically converted to a house. I just went to chill in it all day to get a feel for it I would want to live there. At some point I found myself driving to a hotel in my city after coming back from seeing it, no idea why I did not just go home, but dreams are weird. So I get to this small family run hotel, like basically a big house with lot of rooms. I recall joking with another guest that hotels where you park at your door are always dumps but this one you don't, so it's probably going to be decent. So I get to the living room and this nice old man just talks with me a bit, he knew my name already but I did not recognize him. His wife brings me to my room upstairs and settles me in. For whatever reason I had my giant portable air conditioner in my car and they brought it up for me and set it up so I have AC at night. I remember sitting on the bed chilling on my phone and realizing I forgot some stuff at the place I came from and debating on if I wanted to go back for it. Woke up around that time.

If I interpret this dream correctly it means I should probably buy acreage property before I turn into an old man, and I should build a small hotel on it, and it should probably have air conditioning.
