I was trying to remember where I'd seen the those metal clips before. They are the tips on the probes on my multimeter. Anyway, I pity the parent who has to liberate the device from their shrieking child's hair.

The Gigabyte paid story-ad on the front page of the main AT site states that it's new motherboard power circuit delivers 1440A. Do motherboard manufacturers use a different definition of amps? Since these motherboards are designed for Intel CPUs, a voltage of 1.3V is reasonable with 5V and 12V rails for other components. So it looks like these things should be in the 2000W+ range for power draw. Am I missing something?

I guess I should look at my uncle's computer. I finally got my own computer working I really don't feel like dealing with someone else's now. Has an error that it requires recovery I have a feeling this is going to be a clean install. Downloading Windows 10 now since I don't have a CD for it. Have not burned a CD in like forever lol, it feels like taking a step back in time dealing with Windows.

It's a mobo and an arc welder

Woah sky is eerie right now, sun is setting but it's still rainy, but I guess the clouds are thinning in the west and there's a slight orange glow, but not like a typical sunset, more like a gray orange. Weirdest thing.

Sky is super grey but little rain.
I wonder what tomorrow morning will be like.

The weather was awesome today. Road tripped to Denton and McKinney. These are the two county seats just to the north of Fort Worth (Denton) and Dallas (McKinney). I wanted to be more ambitious, but didn't get on the road until 10am. Maybe tomorrow I will get up earlier and see if I can get a few more. I was up pretty late last night.

Actually managed to get up early for once. Kind of have to though, they're coming for my alarm system, getting a new one since the old one uses 2G which is being phased out.
