So I converted my credit line to one that is linked with the mortgage. Went from 10k to around 60k and lowered the interest to prime + 1%. The limit will go up as I pay down my mortgage.

I wanted a bigger credit line as the truck I'm buying is $12,500 and by the time taxes and other fees get tacked on it will probably be closer to 15k so wanted more breathing room. I decided to cash in 7k of stocks to pay a chunk of it then put the rest on the credit line. The stocks are my offgrid land fund so did not want to pull too many.

I shouldn't be this tired. I think all this rain is really catching up with me. Just so depressing. Actually looking forward to snow. At least it's dry. Then I can do my deck.

I just heard on the radio that DFW has officially spent the entire month so far at 95F and above for the high. I hear we may keep the streak going through at least Monday. Football season is my favorite time of the year, but this is too hot for that (to me).

Lol that's brutal hot. It's been hovering near freezing here. Nights go below freezing. Oddly it's 12 right now, but it feels much colder because of the rain and 100% humidity. It's a cold that goes right through you. Been having to scrape the car in the morning.

Crazy how fast summer ended though. We usually get SOME nice days even after August.

Just realized I'll be able to fly my drone in winter now. It's legal to fly at night with the new rulies. Ok, so I did it anyway before, but now it's actually going to be legal. :p Winter drone flights are the funnest, the scenery is pretty cool especially when the Christmas lights start coming out. Speaking of which if I catch an hour where it stops raining I should put mine up.
