You're lucky. Here, we're averaging a mass shooting every week. (Airplane! type joke) I picked the wrong day to go to the mall!

Yeah it's crazy. I heard there was like over 1000 mass shootings this year alone, is that right? It does not sound right, that's multiple per day.

Here violence and crime is getting bad though, it's still not as bad as the states by any means but it's rising. Even in my city it's super bad now. It used to be safer here, you could leave your doors unlocked etc. Not anymore.

I should look into getting a small unit that is powered by my shed's solar system. Could do just the office. I can probably add more solar panels when I do my deck as well since I want to make a small privacy wall.

That's a gross exaggeration. There's only been 251 mass shooting this year. To put this in perspective, Americans consume 20 billion hot dogs per year.

Always good to charge up the battery once in a while. Should be good for another 15 years now. :p

You can see that battery is toast. After sitting in a box for 15 years the battery doesn't hold a charge. It's still nostalgic. It's cool that it still works. It's just obsolete.

Back to work tomorrow. It feels like I've been off forever, which is nice, means my time off didn't fly by too fast.

Oddly kinda looking forward to it. Getting up at 6am is the part that will suck though. :p

We just got a power bump (get those a lot in summer here) and my neighbour's A/C unit went into stall. Last time that happened I went and pulled the disconnect for them since they were on vacation, but I feel like I'm being nosy if I go mess with it again. I see cars in the driveway, they're probably home, so I think I'll let it be. Just need to keep an eye and make sure it does not catch on fire or anything...

That axe is as big as you! I hated splitting wood as a kid. If I lived in a place where I needed a firesplace, I'd just get a log splitter. Or just buy it already in cords. I think a wood stove is nice. Is this your summer month?

I actually don't mind splitting wood, though birch is a pain, it splits weirdly, hard to make kindling with. Pine goes well.

If I had a wood stove I probably would consider getting a splitter though.

As much as AMD fanboys annoy me, I must say that they have a lot to crow about today. AMD done good.
