Got to like how weird this corporate network can be sometimes. Just randomly lost connectivity to a bunch of stuff and stuff that does work is acting weird.

There's this weird thing where they decided to start using internal IPs that start with 1. I think this is causing weird intermittent routing issues. Should stick to 10.x.x.x for internal stuff imo. Interestingly the range they are using is owned by Korea.

Thank God, manged to get ahold of one of the main network techs. This issue is a very bizare one. Things are about to get real busy... bet he will need help on this one, maybe even fly in spare equipment from out of town.

I don't get why companies insist on having servers "go down for maintenance" or having things time out There is absolutely zero reason for that. So freaking annoying having to relogin to everything throughout the night. I spend more time doing that than my actual job. One thing kicks me out, then another, then another, then cycle repeats.

I don't get what's with the weather lately, it's not necessarily cold temperature wise, only single digit negatives. But it feels so freaking cold liek it was -40 or something. It's a cold that just goes right to the bone, and everything you touch feels like it's been doused with liquid nitrogen. So tired of winter at this point.

Off for a while now so I can just crank the heat and stay indoors.

Debating on if I try to tough staying up after this last night shift so I can revert back to day mode faster, or go to bed. I think I should go to bed. Can start season 6 of GoT tonight, goes faster watching at home since I don't have to actually do my job at same time.
