Well this sucks I just fucked up my work computer. Tried to update firefox but it broke stuff, so tried to roll back. Now it won't let me restore my bookmarks.

Managed to get it going with old version. What a pain though. Was hoping to update to the newest but no go. This version has weird quircks like Reddit videos don't work, but not like I need that to do my job. :p

Amazon no longer flags your order as "Not Shipped".
It just predicts an arrival date and says "Arriving April 21-24".
I guess you're supposed to think it's on its way :)... until you check the tracking anyway. :(

Also they no longer list the order date on the list of orders page - you have to click "order details" button to see when you placed the order.

All designed to make you overlook their lack of promptness in fulfillment.

Man this is so tempting. 40 acres for 38k in unorganized township less than 1 hour from where I live. I could in theory live on this property and still work. Though it's still quite far to drive that every day, but it's plausible.

It's pretty much everything on my wish list for a property except for lake front. So tempting. Could put an offer for 30k and see where that goes. I have 25k in stocks and could put the rest on the credit line or mortgage.

I either wait and hope an equivalent or better property comes up, or snag it. I think it's year round access to, it's just that it may not get plowed which would be fine as I'd just invest in a truck with plow or something.

There's a bunch of lakes off that main road too, so not like I'd be far from any lake, it's just that having a private dock/boat launch is always a plus. I could live without it though...

One downside is no mineral rights. A mine could in theory come and dig it up and mine it. Very hard to find property with mineral rights though. Not sure how enforced that really is anyway.

There are strange things done in the midnight sun
By the men who moil for gold;
The Arctic trails have their secret tales
That would make your blood run cold;
The Northern Lights have seen queer sights,
But the queerest ever seen by far
Was that night on the marge of Lake Lebarge
When Red Squirrel did his hair.
