This talks bout the new laws:

Incident involving empties: https://www.therebel.media/liberals-new-impaired-driving-laws-create-empty-beer-bottle-police

Basically they can test you for no reason at all. It is open to discrimination. They can even test you in your home.

For effect, you can also play this in the background:

Slightly different topic but as of June 1st you also have to get a license to fly a drone, and need to register each drone. (like the gun registry). Also can't drink within 12 hours before flying a drone. Can't even have a single beer. This country is turning into such a ridiculous nanny dictatorship state.

I'm not really a big drinker, but this is just getting insane.

Ok that article does not talk about it but it's everywhere. You must be living under a rock.

You are not allowed to drink within 2 hours after you arrive to your house from anywhere. Same with restaurants etc. Essentially you can't really drink in restaurants anymore as they can randomly come and test you and if you are over the limit you can be charged with impaired driving even if you're not driving.

Most of our local news don't seem to talk about the bad parts like the fact that they can demand tests ANYWHERE including your home even if you're not even in your car. They're probably not allowed to talk about that part I imagine.

Lol how are they going to come to your house and test you if you don't open your door? Or just have some open beer bottles handy. I just had a couple of cold ones after I get home.

Fantastic scenarios are just that.

Unless they observe you driving drunk to your driveway, I don't see how your scenario can happen.

Being pulled over is one thing, being in your house is a completely different thing.

The Rebel is just far right crap. Ezra Levant is a pos.

You kinda have to open the door if it's a cop. They'll just come back an hour later with a warrant and bust the door down. Or they won't bother with the warrant and just bust it down anyway. Cops don't really need a warrant if they feel it's a "life safety issue" which drunk driving is, so they'll just use that as an excuse.

The biggest issue is the fact that they can test you without any suspicion now. They're just going to go randomly test people and if you're over the limit you get charged regardless of if you are even driving. Golf courses and other places that people tend to drink at are going to be a gold mine for DUI tickets lol

That's pretty bad too. Seems there is no safe place from the overreaching arms of the government anymore no matter what country you're in, some are just worse than others. Still better here than shitholes like China or Saudi Arabia though where they'll behead you just because they feel like it.
