I've had shingles. No fun at all.

Yeah I heard that's pretty horrible. I should look at getting the vaccine... If you've had smallpox as a kid, which most people my age did, you are at risk of getting shingles.

Was going to finish job tonight but it was our union meeting for out tentative agreement. For the first time in history we actually have an agreement before the old one is over. Usually it takes over a year to negotiate and then we have like 1 year until we have to do it all over again. They actually did a 4 year agreement this year too. Didn't really gain anything but didn't lose anything either, so I'm happy. Well it's not in stone yet, we voted so tomorrow we find out if it's a go.

I'm in Ketchum, Idaho tonight. I think I'm at 2500 miles in 5 days. Day 6 tomorrow. Head north to the Sawtooth National Forest, into the Salmon River valley, over the Bitterroots, into the valley.

Stopping in Stevensville, Montana to renew our wedding vows at a little Methodist Church with mountains in the background on our anniversary. Wife doesn't know about it. Got it lined up with the pastor.

Then on to Missoula, before spending the night in Kalispell. Glacier National Park the day after. 25 years.

I spent a few days in Stanley, ID a few years back. I caught a gut bug that laid me low.
