oof my Texan soulthat ice is probably like a foot thick.
oof my Texan soul
Reminds me of my homeland. One of the great joys of my youth was walking on frozen lakes, listening to the ice groan and pop, the whistle of blowing snow.
Send me a postcard, drop me a line
Stating point of view
Indicate precisely what you mean to say
Yours sincerely, wasting away
Give me your answer, fill in a form
Mine for evermore
Will you still need me, will you still feed me
When I'm sixty-four
Nef that tune !
Had to get this song in before My next B-day![]()

Wisconsin - The Land of Purity and WholesomenessWhat is your "homeland"? I remember us shoveling off the lakes and ponds to skate as a teenager in NE Indiana. Although I live in Texas, I often miss the quiet walks in the winter evenings up north.
This takes me back. I remember when the Beatles released their albums released their albums out on CD. The put each one out on their 20th anniversary of their original release date. In this case, Sgt. Peppers CD release date was May 26, 1987. I had loved their early stuff and had memorized the White Album. My parents didn't have Sgt. Peppers. I gladly paid $16 for the CD and explored the many wonderful tracks found on it. It was also this time in my life where I discovered the wonderous plant, cannibis. What a great summer!
