Nah why waste heat like that. Not that it makes much of a difference but any extra heat generated means a slight savings on natural gas. I have a few ideas for the server room hvac system though, essentially it's goal will be to move heat away from the server room to a part of the house where it's useful, and bring air in from roughly the same area (to have a proper air loop). There will be dampers so it can change the source/destination for air. in summer it may just use outside air when the indoor air is too hot. But when I run the AC it will switch to using indoor air. Essentially it will be coded to keep the server room at a certain temp while making the most efficient use of heat/AC based on time of year.

Decided to rack it now. Didn't bother making holes to screw it in, it's not like it's really going anywhere, it's sitting on the L rails. So this is officially done and operational.

Now I can passively start looking for more GPUs if by chance I run across a good deal. But think I'm going to wait it out and see what happens. The shortage has to end at some point, hopefully.

The back is kinda bad as I originally was going to just have 3 fan holes but it was easier to mount the PSUs and motherboard facing back. Next custom case I will design it differently and more open. Probably do a motherboard tray that slides out, and the back cover will just be part of that assembly.

Overall quite happy how it turned out though. I will work on a fan controller for the front fans that can work via case ambient temperature, then swap those out for the more powerful ones. I also need to figure out how to get the card fans to run at 100%. According to my UPS I'm drawing 400w between that machine and my workstation, as they are both on same UPS so not too bad. I will need to get a bigger UPS when I start adding more cards.

Lol yeah this place is brutal without adblock. I sometimes browse on Mobile if I'm bored in bed and can't sleep, and that's always a mistake. Pages are constantly jumping all over the place, super annoying. There's also an ad that tries to activate the mic once in a while.

It was dry stone style with flush faces, and absolutely plumb. It must have cost a fortune to have them made. It was hundreds of feet of wall.

Not sure which you're using, but uBlock Origin runs much better than older standard of AdBlockPlus.

My cat is sleeping behind me on my chair and I just let go a huge fart and it woke her up suddenly. I feel like such an asshole lol. She just left.

It was decorative I guess. Didn't serve any real practical purpose. About 3' high, and 1' wide. Lined parts of the drive, and segregated fields/woods.

My cat's in my lap now. She doesn't care if I fart. I swear to Odin, she trolls me with farts sometimes. She'll be laying on my chest, and I smell something. Without moving my body at all, I move my eyes to her, and see her look back with a half eyed glance.

Have a fire going now. That means when I get up, I have to pickup the cat and put her in the chair. When I get back, I'll have to pick her up and put her back in my lap. She's like furniture :^D
