Setting up my new mining rig. Doing all the Linux install stuff. Going to get it going so that I can get a card mining so I can monitor temps and see if the case cooling is adequate. If not the 200 CFM fans are going in. :D

Then I can move the other card to that machine and rack this new one with two cards.

GPUs are way too hard to get right now so won't try to fill it, will wait and see if things get better at some point.

Yay did more progress than I was really planing to do tonight. I got the second card mining now! I was only really planing to install the base OS and then do the rest tomorrow.

At least that card is not sitting there doing nothing now, but not sure if I'll leave it overnight as the system is not plugged in a UPS.

Officially got 2 cards running in the mining rig now. Time to decommission two SAN enclosures I don't use anymore and put the mining rig there. This is where I find out if I messed up any measurements...

So my mining rig is more or less ready to go. Decided to let it run all night just as a test, then I'll rack it tomorrow.

Unracked the two 3U SAN enclosures I don't use. They are heavy so I take out everything that is removable to make them lighter. Though really it was not needed. When I put those in I was apparently weaker, since they arn't so bad anymore to move around. I didn't bother taking the drives out of the 2nd one.

And while I was back there, this is a pic of one of my oldest servers. It has an uptime of 1,343 days and built around 2008. It was originally my "everything" server until I started to move stuff to different boxes, and VMs. But it still does mail, because mail servers are a pain in the ass and I just have not bothered migrating that yet.
