Was originally going to be for fans or just fan grilles (actual fans will go in front), then I ended up just cutting the holes for the PSUs and the motherboard. Really I probably should have just left the back completely open and just put a couple cross members to act as a very basic grid. What I'd like to find is that mesh metal they use on those electric mosquito rackets but no idea where I'd buy that and it's probably expensive.
