I'm going to be doing a lot of personal IT projects in the coming months. I may look for a new keyboard. Already threw it at my wife. It will be small change for the projects I already have planned. I've gotten her used to it. 😛
I want to buy a new computer since mine is 6.5 years old. Looked up the benchmarks on Kaby Lake and Ryzen though and my OC'd Sandy Bridge is apparently no slouch. I guess I will have to wait until Coffee Lake or Threadripper or something. I bought myself the keyboard as a gift for not upgrading my computer 😀. I've already done that once before when I bought a GTX 1080 😀

Well, I'm going to be building a monster home server with dual-Xeons and a crapload of ECC memory and beaucoup storage. Overkill on everything. Not to mention I'm going to upgrade the video card in the rig in my sig, along with a new 4K monitor and 4-port KVM switch that can handle it all.

Was wanting a Ryzen for next month ... until threadripper came along ... Oh yea Baby !

What do you think you'll ultimately decide on? My last main rig that ran AMD was an X2 4400+ that I built in 2006. I keep that CPU on my desk. It resides on my sticky pad. I did build my wife an A10-7850K rig three years ago.

Nef.

Need to try to go to bed early today. Wish me luck with that... lol. Start at 7am tomorrow. Yuck. I need to take one for the team though, can't always be on nights. Weekend day shifts are the crappy shifts now, it gets ridiculously busy. More than a normal week day.
