Took the day off from work yesterday, and now I'm all confused as to the days of the week.

When I woke up just now,I thought it was Sunday, not Saturday.

Haha I know the feeling, I'm always confused about days of week since I work shifts. Night shifts are the most confusing since the calendar date changes half way through the shift.

Just finished fixing up a stool for my server room hot aisle. It's always a pain getting a step ladder behind there so decided to build this thing instead, it fits nicely. I kinda suck at aligning the grip tape apparently. But it will do. The first version of the stool was too tippy so I redesigned it before adding the tape.

Because I can. :p Pretty much everything I do is hosted in it in some way shape or form. File storage, email, DNS, development stuff, various VMs for stuff, home automation, etc...

If my ISP provided static IPs and allowed servers I'd probably host my websites at home too. They do allow game servers so do have a game server but all my web stuff is on a leased server. I would need to get more batteries and a generator though but that's not a big deal. I eventually want to do solar, I have room for a 3kw system, it would run the server room no issues with big enough batteries. Well winter would be harder due to short days but think it would work ok. Only pulling like 400w.
