Acclimating the house for more spray foam. Getting hot in here. Cat is loving it though. lol.

Need to fix some spots that did not seal properly last time so bought a smaller kit. This is really a job I should have been doing in summer so that the walls are a higher temp. Higher temp = better expansion.

I think spray foam is better than fiberglass.
Doesnt irritate the skin. Easier to worth with.

Yeah using it mostly for sealing cracks etc. Did the rim joists and also behind the top plate of the stud wall and the foundation, to seal that part. Rest will be Roxul batts and vapour barrier. I thought of doing spray foam for the whole thing though but really expensive.

The thing I learned with spray foam is the temperature matters a lot though. I find I did not get great expansion. Really should have done it in summer. Live and learn though.
