I had carousels of old 45's from my mother from the 50's at one time, wish I still did.

I'm not proud of this. I broke my mother's copy of Bill Haley & The Comets - Rock Around The Clock (78). I was 8 at the time. The record was brittle and I dropped it onto the corner of the stereo. I've asked for my mother's records when she passes away. I've got an inch thick stack of 45's of my own. First 45, Neil Diamond - Desiree. After about ten singles or so I started buying albums (LP).
