When it's this cold is when I realize how nice a wood stove would be. Just fire that up without feeling bad about the gas usage. Wood is cheap - almost free if I get/cut it myself. Furnace pretty much is on at full tilt without stopping if I want the house above 20c lol.

I really need to start insulating my basement though. That's not my main source of heat loss (it's actually warmer down there than upstairs, as it is) but it will help.

That is kinda neat though... seems there is not much on the market as far as small phones that are easily pocketable, current gen phones are kinda big and awkward to pocket. Coat pocket fine but not so much jeans.

Not so much. Dumb phone? Perfect size. Smartphone where you want to be able to read the screen? Terribly undersized. Processor? Crap. Camera? Crap. Battery life? Don't know. Has underpowered CPU, but battery is undersized. Smartphones are based on their usefulness. Not much use would be done here. But it can make a phone call!
