Firefox on my work machine has had laggy page loads for a year. It finally bothered me enough to try to fix it. I had it set to detect proxy settings instead of no proxy. Dunno how I managed that, but it's working great now.

Night shifts over nef. Now I need to try to revert to day shift mode since I start day shifts Friday. I failed today by getting up at like 6pm. Hopefully I can do better tomorrow.

I just added the band filter to my ADS-B receiver, holy crap I'm getting even more planes now. Not necessarily more range, just more planes. I wanted to try without the filter before just to get an idea of performance so I can determine if it's better with or without it, but it seems to be better with it. I can't wait to put this antenna outside higher up in summer to see how much further I actually pick stuff up.

Just glad my ISP has unlimited bandwidth... I'm at like 1MB/sec upload right now feeding all this data to the tracking sites lol.

That sucks.

I had my wife come out to shovel with me one day and we have a smow blower the next day :awe:
lol funny how that works.

I could buy a snowblower but it would probably be a waste of money, we only get enough snow to justify using one about once every 3 or 4 years. Usually if we get any signifficant accumulation of snow it starts raining and its mostly gone the next day.

I bought one a few years back, money well spent. I was the same way and had trouble justifying it. Our winters are getting shorter and shorter and we get less and less snow every year. But damn is it nice to have when we do get dumped on. For a smaller snow fall, I just shovel all the snow in the middle of the driveway and do a bunch of passes with the snow blower. Saves me from having to launch it up in the yard myself.
