Nah no point, it would be getting heat for most of the year, and I'd have to add a return in the hot aisle too. Server room will just use crawlspace air to cool, which will be cool in winter by default, or cooled by the A/C.

Though, a direct duct with a damper has come to mind, could have the damper open when the temp in there is past a certain threshold.

Actually, I should probably add some form of authentication to that. I have a separate wifi vlan for guests though. There's also some hard coded temp range limits and some measures to prevent short cycling furnace/compressor for in case it ever did somehow get hacked.

I did notice that when the AC goes off the blower seems to stop then start real fast, so I need to figure out why it's doing that. I think it has to do with the logic to equalize the supply/return temp, but it should just keep running normally.
