Note to self, next time I just swallow the bullet and get a PCB made. This is more work than I thought.



Not even done. Using almost every pin of an Atmega 14 pin micro. Suppose I could have planned the layout better as to make it easier though. Live and learn.

I still need to learn kicad more so I can do the board layouts too, that program is kinda convoluted in how it handles component libraries and is a bit tedius to use but think in the long run I'll save a lot of time if I just learn it.

Could have used photo boards and washed it yourself. ..

Yeah I found out of this place called dirtyPCBs, will probably use them next time.

Thought of doing it myself with toner transfer but seems like more work than it's worth, and need lot of specialized chemicals and equipment. At that point easier to ship to China.

I just need to take the time to learn Kicad so I can make the gerber files and stuff.

I cant believe you didnt even use breadboard.
