not really, that graphite is about to break as soon as you touch it to the paper

Are you a gorilla? That point will never break. It gets repointed on a file as it wears, then knife sharpened when it gets too low.

The only thing that sucks about it is it's HB lead. The retard that decided that should be the standard should be kicked in the balls. 2H is the god given hardness used for non-artistic purposes. Even with a crappy compromise, it should be on the harder side of medium(F), instead of the smearalicious HB

sounds like you should be using a carpenter's pencil

Too fat. I use those for marking concrete. I used to use a mechanical, but work's gotten too rough, and I don't want to mess up my good pencils. I could buy 2H woodies, but I have so many #2s I've accumulated over the years, it feels wasteful to buy more pencils.
