Nothing wrong with that. I prefer to wait and watch as well. I'm actually not much of a manga/anime nerd, it's more just a casual enjoyment. Most of what I pickup are recommendations from others who are totally into it. I treat it like any regular american TV show, if it's interesting I'll watch it. But I'm not going to figure out when it airs and plan my time around it so I can see each episode as soon as it's out (helps that I don't own a TV). I'll wait and see it on one of the streaming sites when I feel like it.

I'm enough of an anime nerd that I will make sure to grab a batch the day the series finishes airing, but netflix has ruined me on TV show watching, i just can't stand the weekly release format anymore. I need to binge watch.
