Holy power outages batman. Lots in southern Ontario, thankfully we don't really have much there, but Quebec has a lot too. Some kind of wind storm just blew right through both provinces.

My house lost power for a couple hours earlier too. It was kinda scary as you could feel the surge throughout the whole house each time they tried to reset the breaker but there was still a fault on the line. It was like a loud BURRRRRRRR with lots of clicks and cracks. MOVs FTW? I don't think anything to damaged. My server UPS is also smart enough that it does not trip over to AC the instant the power comes back so at least the equipment was staying on battery during these surges.
