Is this water cooling?

Or some sort of advanced air cooling?

I have one I've never bothered building in mind using water wall radiators, that I've never done.

I think I saw someone did one recently, but I just avoid water I guess.

You could have a water loop permanent in the house and just have disconects you could hook any computer to, just something I never messed with.

Build a whole exterior loop on the wall you just plug into, with a pump and a reservior.

Just something I've never bothered to mess with.

I was thinking of using water cooling for the server room so I can reuse the same air and make humidity control easier, but then I need to get rid of the hydrogen from the batteries so can't really do that, so I'll probably just do an air cooled system. It never really reaches above 25C here which is a suitable temp for a small server room so it will mostly use a combination of indoor and outside air and do everything it can to keep the room between 20-25c. In winter it will use mostly crawlspace air and recycle the hoter air into the furnace return. A HRV will be used to exhaust the air out but retain the heat. Eventually I'll get central air so it will basically keep the crawlspace from getting hot even during a heat wave.

It's one of those projects I kind of been brainstorming in my mind but I should probably get on it so I can seal up the server room from dust.

Ah I see.

It might work in reverse even.

Maybe even better.

I'm not capable of running numbers on something like that I'll admit.

65,000 litre of water, 4kj to heat 1 litre by 1 degree c

260MJ per degree celcius. now that is a heat sink :awe:

Yeah, I have one that needs repair actually these days.

Tends to get about 90 degrees about this time of the year though.
