I scored a free CRT from work a few weeks ago. It was destined to the recycler. I was planing on buying a small flat screen for the basement for when I work out but figured what the hell I'll take a free CRT. My fibre TV service does not look that great on it though but it does the job. :awe:

I find CRTs kind of nostalgic now, so I figured it would be nice to have one anyway just for the sake of nostalgia. It has a built in VCR too.

I need to find some workout videos on VHS now and I'm all set. 😀

I hate that shit.So annoying,isn't it?

Thankfully was not for very long. I'm just glad they warned me before because I would have jumped a little higher when it went off.

I also like it a lot because I talked myself out of buying one of these tv's when I was 19. I had a Sears card with a limit of 1k. I was so close to dropping that much on an HD CRT but then came to my senses. I have a modded Wii and a ps2 slim hooked up to it. It's picture compared to the 32" Sony Trinitron 480P tv that it replaced is a league ahead. Over the air DTV looks outstanding. It's on par with my 32" LG lcd panel in that regard.
