Probably a zoo.
I figured that part out... was after which zoo.
Probably a zoo.
I figured that part out... was after which zoo.![]()
I dont know. On the inside they all look alike. Its the amenities and shit that distinguish them.
national zoo here in DC is pretty different form most other zoos i have seen o.o
I been to the national zoo in DC, for my biology class.
On the inside it feels almost exactly like every other zoo I been to.
Well, except for that one area where you can play with the goats. That was cool.
Most of the zoos I have been to that aren't major zoos are actually nothing like the national zoo and are really shitty in comparison, there are some major zoos that are similarly large and open with lots of trees and roaming monkeys, but i haven't seen any smaller zoos have anything similar![]()
The Minnesota zoo is really nice. We also have a place called Como zoo which is smaller, but free (they have donation buckets all over the place).
national zoo is free so maybe i'm spoiled, but i'd hate to pay for a zoo o.o
Its free to access but sweet JESUS everything in there is fucking expensive!
no, that's DC in general, the zoo is about the same as most everywhere else, even upon leaving the zoo you will pay outrageously for anything![]()
That's mainly because the food court is for the commuters and workers to get a quick bite to eat, it's all fast food. B. Smith's is a pretty decent restaurant, that is up top, but it is a bit pricer than what most would want to pay, but in DC $20-30 for an entrée isn't really all that out of the ordinary.I just walked straight from the Metro to the zoo. Didnt stop anywhere.
On my way back home I did work around to Union Station. I think the food court is actually quite reasonable. But the shit up above is retardedly overpriced.
Those pics are shit. I used my phone cuz I didnt feel like taking my SLR downtown. My phone isnt good enough for memories or anything long-term.
I should really get a good compact one day, for carrying around.
faail.
one of the three coworkers that I actually like gave notice today :'(
exciting move for him, though. he's been doing photography part-time for years; he's finally making the jump to turn it into a full-time career.
well good for him, kinda sucky for you![]()
yup... the only potential up-side is that he recommended to our boss that I take his schedule once he's gone (which would get me off from working Sundays and working Tuesday - Friday instead. not my dream schedule, but better than what I have now)
Damn, hope that works out.
I actually just got an email that my boss wants me to work saturday and sunday this next week :\
so much for that party saturday night.

A little work is good for ya!
working Sundays isn't too bad since it gives me my Friday and Saturday nights free, but I'd love to be able to enjoy a lazy Sunday morning with the boyfriend instead of giving him a kiss on the cheek at 6 am and quietly leaving the apartment while he sleeps until 9-10 am.
